My cab driver who brought me to my nearby hotel recommended this place and it is pretty good. Very interesting bear list and for a Sydney joint the wine list is great, with moderately priced good quality red. Noticed a couple at one table having a romantic eye to eye moment despite the sound level! Lots of cute young things... More

Super great pizzas and beers. The decoration is laid back and not overdressed. A good place to start a night out

This review is with a heavy heart. Nice staff and great vibe to the bar (exactly what I have seen on other reviews!). However there were a couple of things which severely dented my opinion (well, mainly point 1): 1) a large piece of plastic in a meatball on the pizza. Slightly larger than a 2 dollar coin. I pointed... More

Ducked into Frankie's during a recent work trip to Sydney and was hugely impressed with the venue, great set up and the perfect venue for a few after work.

Went here with a group of friends for dinner, the pizza was pretty average and only really fed one or two people maximum, it was so hard to find a seat and it was so noisy that it just was not an enjoyable experience at all.

I was invited out to dinner by some friends when I was down in Sydney, and I didn't have the heart to say "no" when pizza was suggested. I don't like pizza - I tend to avoid it. However, when the spinach pizza and potato pizza arrived at our table, my views were changed. I have to admit, these were... More

it's a below ground club with bar and live music. The pizza is great, the beer flows freely and the music is great. It's definitely a good place to hang out. It's a bit tilted to a younger crowd and if you're looking for a quiet place, this isn't it. Staff is A+

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
