This is one of our local Sydney friends' favourite places - and we were not surprised! Menu and food live up to expectations and the friendly vibe and service contribute to the 'wow' . Pork buns and salt bush cakes a table favourite!

My wife and I visited the restaurant with my son and his Japanese fiancée, who live in Sydney. The restaurant pulsated with energy. The decor was so cool, lighting nicely subdued. We had the taster menu and I would thoroughly recommend doing this. The Saltbush cake the duck were standouts. An excellent wine list with very friendly and non-intrusively helpful... More

Visited the restaurant in Surrey Hills and had a Fantastic experienced. This time to new premises and what a disappointment. Had the banquet (4 people)- started well except courses were arriving before we had finished the current one. Staff appeared to be only partially trained and some were arrogant in the extreme. Latter part of meal - 2 "mains "... More

We loved everything we ate at this restaurant, and I could go back and eat my way through the menu, if we lived in Sydney. Service was excellent and every dish was outstanding.

I adore the native greens! All of the food was so good and the project wines a treat. The ginger creme brûlée was divine.

Have been here a few times and to be fair the food has been great however went last week and unfortunately 2 of our group got bad food poisoning. This is a very good restaraunt so we were very surprised by this. The suspect dish was the kingfish ceviche. Good enough to go back but I'm a little nervous.

Great buzzy restaurant. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and all food a taste sensation. Good wine list. The glass could be a little more plentiful when you only order a glass, but overall a must try.

We had not been to the Billy Kwong restaurant since they relocated from Crown Street to Potts Point. Such a difference! Reservations are now possible, the bar is excellent and the food just as good. Dumplings and san choy bau excellent. The biggest standout was the arrangements that Kylie Kwong has made with beer and wine producers –some very interesting... More

This is a busy and popular restaurant. Our party of four booked late and we were expecting to have to sit at the restaurant bar. I would not recommend this to readers as from past experience in high-end Sydney restaurants, it is usually very hard to maintain a conversation with fellow diners and seating is very uncomfortable. This was my... More
