Well I didn't go for the Chilli crab but I could see other diners tucking in and I have to admit that I wish I had tried the signature dish. The garlic chicken I ordered came with baby asparagus and mange tout accompanied by boiled rice, simple and very tasty

We were staying at the csh and decided on recommendation to try here for dinner one night as t was just underneath our hotel. We ordered beef and veg in garlic, Peking ribs and crispy chicken, the meal itself wasn't very nice in our opinion. The service was slow ( asking for the bill 3 times before receiving and it... Had a wonderful meal at Harry's but we literally couldn't eat our food because it came out so quickly. Entrees arrived within a few mins of ordering. Then the mains again within 5-10. At one point we asked the wait staff to hold off and he advised the kitchen to slow down but it just kept coming. Portion of the... More

Garlic chicken way over powered by what seemed like raw garlic and almost inedible. Pork spare rib Peking style very average just like the Harry's friend rice. I won't bother going back.

As much as this was a great night out, I still miss the the old Harrys around the corner.. we had the Singapore chilli crab as usual. It was good but not great.. the mix is just not what is used to be which is what I think set this place above the rest.. another noticeable lacking was the missing... More

I have been going to Harry's for close to 15 years - once or twice a year regularly with friends. Progressively over the last 3 years the service and food quality have dropped and the prices increased. Saturday night saw the last ever visit to this (now) appalling tourist trap. Market price for mud crab was (wait for it) $128/kilo!... More

This restaurant is definately trading on past reputation. We went last night with the sole purpose of eating chilli crab but at $200 per medium size crab and no drinks you could go to a 3 hat restaurant. - Last time we went we thought the crab was becoming overpriced at $80/kg but last night the price was $128/kg -... While in Sydney we walked past Harry's Singapore Chili Crab on Elizabeth. The Crab was calling... Had the mud Crab in a spicy, sweet, eggy chili sauce which was the star of the meal. The mud crab was sweet, meaty and expensive! We ordered steamed oysters with garlic and green onion, scallops in XO sauce and broccoli in Crab sauce.... More

I'm not a crab fan, which severely limited my choices but since it was after 8 pm on a Sunday and i was staying in the hotel attached to the restaurant I didn't have a lot of choice. I ended up ordering the barramundi filets with snowpeas, which was fine. Don't think I'd go back though.
