Went here with my tour group for our farewell dinner in Sydney. We were one of several groups that night but I noticed on subsequent days there were also many groups in the restaurant. However, the food was very good and the service was attentive to our group. There was always someone around when you needed a server. Watching the... More

Food ok, service was lacking, ask for this ask for that, And not even too busy !!! The previous night at cristini was far better. Shame!! Even the wine we pour ourselves. Really not attentive in the service offered. We prompted the drinks order, the wine order - to be honest they only poured the first glass. Request the menu... More

The location is good, great looking for outside but unfortunately I had to wait over 20min for the starter and another 20min for the main. So poor service. Regarding the food it was not tasting seafood and my fish was far below my expectations. There is much better restaurants in the neighborhood to test.

Initial impressions were good, greeted promptly and bar staff were friendly. Food served fairly quickly, after that point service was poor. Noone checked to see if meal was ok, or for additional drinks. Staff were not well coordinated, and seemed flustered. It took several attempts to get a waiter to stop for the bill, once paid, the staff then did... More

This is a lovely location and the tables were laid nicely so our expectation was high, but service was not that great and the food was greasy. We had the salt & pepper calamari, which is usually lightly dusted and crisp, but this had barely any tasty coating and little flavour. I ordered the tempura prawns for mains and the... More

We had a top meal at this legendary Sydney restaurant. A great location with a relaxed friendly vibe. The food is good and reasonably priced. We stopped in for a bite to eat before seeing a concert at the opera house. I am a fan of seafood and they offer great prices on baby lobster. The staff are fun and... More

We found this lovely looking place on the Promenade on a sunny day. Unfortunately, the dishes proved very average. We saw later that several better rated establishments were nearby.

We had a lovely dinner here. We were seated at a table that was at the end, so we had a nice view of the harbor and the crowds on the boardwalk. The food was very good, especially my husbands mushroom risotto. I had the sea food chowder, which was also nice. We had a lovely waitress and good service.... More

I'm glad we chose this place when wandering along. A great selection and can recommend the platter! You won't be disappointed. We (2 x large males) struggled to finish it.

Staying in Darling Harbour

Neighbourhood Profile
Darling Harbour
The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to Dj’s. Families can visit the Chinese Gardens of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Sydney Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
