Phamish use to be awesome (been 20 times), they have changed the spring rolls which are now crap, salt & pepper prawns are now gross and the service is poor.

Food was very nice and very reasonably priced. Tucked away with a few other eateries and pubs in Palmer Street. Food is ordered at the counter, and is brought out very quickly. They pride themselves on not using MSG in any dishes. Service was very...More

This restaurant works hard to provide great food and speedy service. Casual informal eating place very popular with locals and with good reason. The dishes have tasty sauces which are delicate and light beautifully complimenting the dish without overpowering it. The result is that you...More

Been there a couple of times now. Unpretentious, no-frills place. You order at the cashier and are brought the food in due course. Waitstaff nice and attentive. The food is good - so far we (the two of us) had the salt n pepper squid...More

Absolutely brilliant meal. Nothing fancy about this place but the food makes up for it. The crispy skin chicken, pork belly, spring rolls were all to die for. A little on the pricey side for the setting. Would return however and recommend.

This famous haunt has been a personal favourite of ours for many years. Upon visiting this week we noticed several subtle aesthetic changes and of course a raft of new staff across the restaurant. Finding out the establishment had changed hands, we still wanted to...More

This place is such a no-brainer: sure you've got to wait, but there's a pub on the corner so given them your mobile and go have a drink. Then come back for some serious Vietnamese deliciousness. Ingredients treated with respect for freshness and taste. Perfect...More

Such great reviews on so many different platforms. I was surprised when I came here that it was below average. The mixed fruit drinks were okay but the food was very ordinary with a hefty price tag

Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney,
Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other
