Had the Peri-peri chicken pizza and wow it was the most amazing pizza I've had. Pizza had really crispy crust and a lot of meat and dressing on top. Pasta was also amazing!! Tried the boscaiola pasta and it had the perfect amount of creamy sauce on top. Must visit!!

This place has been an old staple for me and my friends. We don't go every week or even every month. But for years we've always made a point of often going back to Trovata. Until tonight. The food is great. The staff are great. The experience is nice. It's like comfy shoes. But getting a bill with a directive... More

Had dinner here last night (group of 7). Brought our own wine. Great, great food. Had the chilli feta turkish bread (great dips on the side!), bruscettas (yum!) and veal involtini (yumyumyum). And so reasonably priced. Lovely service. Will be back as soon as possible.

This was a quick walk from our hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our food and dining experience. This restaurant has a lovely neighborhood feel, intimate but active. We had a pizza and pasta special and both were delicious.

Visited this restaurant twice last week. Have been here before. Good food , Italian style food at reasonable prices. I have always found the food very good and tasty , generous portions and very friendly attentive staff. Worth a visit. If on their email list , get free bottle of wine to celebrate your birthday.

Good restaurant, honest food. Try the Trovata Linguini. And the salmon 😊. The service is friendly, relates well to the client and is efficient.

Looked clean. Wait staff were awesome. Friendly and offered great sightseeing advise and some money stretcher tips. Two of us shared: Caesar salad,Trovata pizza, and the tiramisu. All were very good and perfect for sharing. Food was excellent, service was awesome...what more could you ask for?

Staying at the Boulevard hotel on William st, went over to Stanley st to look for a place to eat. Glad we chose Trovata. Service was excellent, very friendly and gave several suggestions for things to do while in Sydney. We got a Caesar salad, (if you don't like anchovies they are on top) very good. Chose the Trovata pizza... More

A nice looking restaurant with a lovely Italian feel. The service was excellent. The lovely waitress was ever so helpful and accommodating. Sadly that is where it ends. There was something lacking in the food. Not quite authentic, Not quite Fresh, Definitely not made with Italian passion. The Caprese starter we shared came with very average bocconcini , the Tomatoes... More

Staying in Darlinghurst

Neighbourhood Profile
Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney, Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other suburb. Themes range from American whiskey bars and 1950’s theme bars to hidden bars requiring secret passwords. Oxford Street is the "Gay Capital" of Australia, where gay and lesbian-friendly venues feature “diva shows” and dancing until the morning. Vintage lovers flock to Crown Street, and small designer boutiques can be found along Victoria and Bourke Streets. Dining in Darlinghurst is a gastronomic adventure. Food from all over the world is on the menu, from American ribs to tapas, sushi to gelato and every ethnicity in between.
