Every night of our trip we ended up back at the Opera Bar. A great atmosphere, fantastic views, great for people watching! Evening menu was good, with excellent service as the place is always packed. We tried the fish n chips, pizza all really good....More

I always use the opera bar when I visit the opera house. You are guaranteed a very quick service and very tasty food. It’s a little bit like tapas so is good to order a few dishes and share. It has the added pleasure of...More

I think the only reason you would come here is the view of the bridge and the harbor. Its incredible any time of the day or night from here. Other than the view, watching a group of girls from western Sydney with horrific plastic surgery,...More

We were searching for somewhere close to the Opera House for a pre-event drink and light snack and the Opera Bar ticked all the boxes. We partook in the cheese platter and pate but there was plenty of choice on the menu if you wanted...More

Lunch before a concert on a wet, cool day. Seating (next to heater) tick tick. View tick tick. Wine list tick tick. Food - pate tick but salt & vinegar calamari no tick. Looked like cheese twisties and tasted like chewy cheese twisties.

Whenever we are in Sydney we walk to Circular Quay to remind ourselves of the beautiful harbour and what better way to take in the sights than a beer or coffee at the Opera Bar. The food menu is pretty good as well but we...More

Stopped here before and after a show. The food was not bad but the cocktails were bland and the selection was very limited.

Had a drink day out with friends and ordered their Moscato with some snacks. Best Moscato I've ever tasted and best truffles cheese fries! Will come back again!

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens

It's not as easy to see the Bridge from the Meat and Cheese Room. It's better to sit facing out, on bar stools, near the Cocktail Bar. If you wish to be out of doors your view will be great, as long as you face the bridge... More
