Quality of food was awesome, service a tad slow however because the food was good it didn't matter. Fresh produce. Next to Hotel 57, easy and accessible. Does deliver to hotel 57 guests if need at certain times of the day. Good price.

This was our first time dining at Foveaux since it re-opened and we were very pleased with the experience. The restaurant is verging on industrial chic, with low lighting, exposed brick walls, and very nice chairs. The menu was creative and full of interesting options....More
There are plenty of booths in this bar which would normally be a plus, but OMG the seats are super uncomfortable - like sitting on a concrete slab. Even though the service was friendly and the drinks were fine, my uncushioned butt was telling me...More
The food is clever, subtle and very well crafted. There is a very skilled chef Paul in the kitchen and his team compliment with casual professionalism. We were treated to a delightful dinner, by two of our favourite people my son and his lovely partner....More

I don't know if this place has any hats but it deserves 2. Exciting adventurous food on a small menu that means that they are focused on their specialty dishes. A chicken and bug entrée was amazing followed by a drop dead lamb dish and...More
This an excellent venue for a gourmet night out. Dishes are creative, atmosphere intimate and the service was very good. The wine list is limited but good enough and they're BYO except for Friday & Saturday.
