Went for dinner with my wife and we both enjoyed it without being blown away ... Would go again as it was fresh and clean. Staff were very helpful . Good range of sake.

Been here many times and never been disappointed. Fresh sushi and a good selection of hot items on the menu too. Staff are friendly and the food comes quite quickly. Not sure if its their "thing", but they offer trout instead of salmon. Always wondered about that..

Booked our 10th anniversary dinner here, since there's a dearth of Japanese food choices over in Canberra. The place was inviting and bustling, but not quite what we imagined. We were seated at the bar which gave us a good view of the sushi-making, and the quality of the food was on the whole better than decent (especially the interesting... More

We visited Busshari for Dinner and we had a great stay there. The Sushi was excellent and fresh made! It's every AUS$ worth it. The Premium Wagyu was also good. The side dishes (rice, ...) are not included.

My friend and I went to Busshari's for dinner. The restaurant was bustling and full of customers - which to us was a positive sign. We only had a short wait before being seated and promptly served by the polite Japanese staff. Our meals were thoroughly enjoyable. The dishes were fresh and generous and the sake did not disappoint! I... More

This place is fantastic. 5 blokes arrived all with half a glow on from the previous hour drinking in a bar around the corner. Thankfully my mate had the foresight to book. We arrived at 8:30 and proceeded to hoe into some of the best sushi and sashimi and tempura. The Goyza are the best we have had anywhere so... More

We booked a table of 2 and sat in the back of the restaurant, in front of the kitchen (which was very entertaining!) We shared the dumplings, the Wagyu Beef Sizzling Tobanyaki (just try it), the Teriyaki trout and a Californian sushi roll. Everything was fresh and delicious. Atmosphere is nice and the food is well presented.

Great dinner here again. Warm sushi rolls are the best. Try the spider rolls, (warm soft shell sushi), prawn tempura rolls, delicious scampi & gyoza. Top shelf restaurant in a second rate area. This place is a gem!

We use to eat here a lot for lunch however we've noticed in the last year the quality of the sashimi isn't as good. Yesterday whatever white fish they use in their sashimi was so dry and chewy I couldn't eat it. And The sashimi bowl used to have this wonderful sauce which made the dish and now they stopped...
