Been here before several times. They don’t disappoint. Had the meat and seafood platter ($78) it comes with a side of potato salad and cabbage. While the menu says it’s for 2 it’s enough to feed 3 especially if you order an entree and intend...More

This Croatian restaurant wasn't too bad, and you are hard-pressed to find Croatian restaurants at all so I was looking forward to this. This was my first time trying restaurant calamari and it was cooked very well. A good job on the meat too. It...More

Portion is enough for hungry man. Shrimps weren't fresh, they were frozen. The meat was grilled on the same grill, so meat tasted like fish. In my opinion, too expensive for what you get.

We enjoyed the calamari appetizers the best. The mixed meat platters were okay, but overpriced. The fresh catch was pretty decent. The staff was friendly, and the location is good. I am glad we went here, and would likely be back for a lunch visit....More

Rather disappointed. I have been there a few times with friends. I notice the last time there was much less on the plate. Even less salad as a side dish Food rather dry from the grill as overcooked

No complaints about the food or service, although it was slow (maybe because it was a Saturday night and busy). However the elderly guy walking back and forth all night came across as a dirty old man when kissing my attractive date (who he had...More

Not much to say about this restaurant other than the staff tried hard but frankly we didn't enjoy the food. We ordered mixed platters to share among 4 people. It was mostly badly overcooked, tough and a bit bland. When we asked for the wine...More

Always enjoy dining at the Balkan Seafood in Oxford St! A large open plan dining area, with comfortably spaced seating. Father and daughter team looked after us like silkworms as did our favourite waiter, Alex! Seafood and Eastern European dishes off the grill are all...More

Please do not go here. We paid for our meal, the lady large waitress apologised for bumping us all night. All that was said was, yes you did! (Mind you she had pushed into my elderly friend n wasn't apologetic at the time). Anyway was...More

Visited last night with a group of friends and the staff were very accommodating when we arrived with an extra person. The sea food platters were generous and delicious. I also particularly enjoyed the accompanying potato salad. I’d definitely return on a future trip to...More

Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney,
Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other
suburb. Themes range from American whiskey bars and
1950’s theme bars to hidden bars requiring secret
passwords. Oxford Street is the "Gay Capital" of
Australia, where gay and lesbian-friendly venues
feature “diva shows” and dancing until the morning.
