My wife and I went there to celebrate an event. The Service was excellent and we had the 8-course degustation menu with matching premium wines. It’s definitely worth the money and we were there for 3 hours. Excellent views and make sure that you ask if a cruise ship is going to be in because it can block the view.... More

My husband and I had lunch here on a Saturday recently and were blown away by the wonderful service and amazing food. We had the three course lunch and each course was amazing - the textures and taste were delicious - and nothing like we had ever eaten before. The staff were professional and knowledgeable re the dishes. Worth the... More

My wife and I have wanted to dine at Quay ever since we saw the famous Snow Egg on TV. So last week we did and I have been wondering how to review the iconic restaurant ever since. We went with the Tasting Menu with Premium Wine Match. The food was exquisite: beautifully prepared and Glen, our host, most accommodating.... More

After several months of planning and waiting, we went to Quay last Sunday night and it was everything we'd hoped for and more. After being met by the friendly staff we were led upstairs to our table and a view to die for. As the night settled in, the views of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House provided the... More

Excellent service The best dishes were the carrot starter, excellent, the lamb main and walnut dessert. All of this would have scored highly, There were too many dishes that disappointed and some downright failures, though so overall it lacked consistency. We paid for excellence at a world class level and price tag which was only delivered in service and half... More

Where to start? Service - was first class knowledgable, efficient and could not be faulted from the time we walked through the door. Special mention to Juliette for her passion and hospitality. Food - Perfection on every level, from the presentation to the flavours in every bite, can't fault a single thing. Worth the flight just for the lamb!! Wine... More

My wife and I ate here just before Christmas and had an amazing evening. We had planned it a long time in advance and were really looking forward to the evening and it did not disappoint. The location cannot be beaten. We sat in an almost circular room with views of the Bridge, the harbor, the Opera House and back... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
