First time there and won't possibly forget the enjoyment of the entire experience. Matt Moran certainly must be proud of what he has achieved. People spotting was a given!

We celebrated a 60th birthday with the family here with a beautiful lunch. I decided to tackle the 4 course menu and I was not disappointed! We were seated on a beautiful table with views of the opera house and bridge. To start I had the trout sashimi with fermented chilli - this was a really beautiful and delicate dish,... More

What a beautiful dinner accompanied by excellent customer service. I couldn't fault anything of the food except my mocktail was made very sour but the service to replace it was excellent. The little sample dishes you were given between course is something that I loved the most as it was unexpected and tasted so good. The Food View and Staff... More

Very dissapointed food was very ordinarly presented cooked well but nothing startling, service good, view great. Very overpriced for what it was. Again so dissapointing and really was excited thought Matt Moran would have done better than that have had better meals at ordinary resturants The fish was so ordinary with a dollop of jellyish cauliflower spread with green tea,... We had a reservation for a pre-theatre menue, welcome was friendly. The waiter was somewhat pretentious. We had some sashimi as starters, my wife had lamb and I got some Angus steak. The sashimi was excellent, the meat not cooked as requested, the mashed potatoes seemed to be convenience prepared. We had glasses of wines recommended by the sommelier, fine... More

We were treated to Aria as a wedding gift. The place was brilliant. Great view of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Sat in the window watching the world go by with a great meal. We had the set menu and accompanying wine flight. Food was good, but not the best we've ever had. Wine was hit and miss. Still... More

After wanting to try aria for a long time we chose a time when my sister and partner had arrived from overseas. I have two say my whole family were quite disappointed. After taking half an hour or so to take our orders it seemed like another 30minutes until any bread or drinks arrived. Over three hours later we had... More

Aria food is always exciting to eat, you can just tell that everything on every plate has had so much thought put into it. The food is so beautifully presented and flavoursome, me and my partner usually struggle to finish our mains even though the portion size is the usual for a fine dining restaurant. You are definitely getting your... More

Maybe I was just SO excited to finally get to Aria that my expectations were too high. We arrived a little early and were shown to our table - which was in a little side room with views out over the cruise ship and Circular Quay next door. I'd seen photos and thought I was in the wrong place, so... More

Food was fresh and menu was inventive and tasty. Had local wine delicious . Easily matched previous meals at Michelin starred restaurants. Great service too What caps it off is the spectacular view- we were there at dinner for our last night in Sydney with the bridge and Opera house lit up - picture perfect!

Thank knatalie

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
