We booked for dinner at the last moment at this lovely restaurant and were very happy to get a table. The restaurant was a great find with white table cloths and a great Italian trattoria feel. The food was of a high quality with good choices; the wine selection was extensive and the staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant... More

I and my significant other went to a private club nearby this restaurant which has reciprocal arrangement with my club in Tokyo. We found that the Club doesn't offer dinner service. A bartender and a club member gentleman sitting at bar counter recommended this restaurant. Instantly recognized that this is a popular restaurant frequented by locals. Cozy, attentive service, good... More

Ambience looked good walking in, but so dark everyone needed to use their phones to read the menu. Conversation difficult with background noise. Tables very small. Food excellent. wine list overpriced

In Sydney for work and found this place by accident.....exceptional food, impressive wine collection and extremely wonderful staff. I had the garlic and chilli prawn pasta which was just beautiful..will now become a regular place for me when in Sydney...

Spent a lovely night out here before going to the state theatre with girlfriends. Amazing Porcini risotto, great atmosphere and superb service from charming French waiter - can't wait to go again!

We spent the night at the Sheraton before heading to Hong Kong. As it was our anniversary we decided to stay close by and have dinner at Bambi. We had the most beautiful dinner sitting outside watching people heading home after work. The staff made us feel so welcome and did everything to make our night perfect, from Italian prosecco... Celebration with a friend called for somewhere special and Bambini Trust was our mutual, and perfect choice. Service is warm and friendly and food elegant and delicious. My duck confit with lentils was just right on a drizzly Sydney evening and the flourless chocolate cake was gorgeous. Stylish and lovely. Go!

We have dined here twice, with visits twelve months apart, and wish we lived closer and could go more often! Food is excellent - modern Italian with Australian influences. An emphasis on quality and seasonal, fresh ingredients. Decor is stylish, and service pleasant and efficient. Timber panelling and generous upholstery keeps the noise level muted, making this a good place... More

I came here after work with my sister for some cocktails and this place didn't disappoint. It's got a lovely, European feel with soft lighting and a great cocktail list. The staff were so accommodating and professional - after we had finished with our drinks, we asked about their restaurant across the hall, and they made us a reservation and... More

After reading the reviews ,we felt this place was worth a visit. We were not disappointed. Although the seating area is a bit small,we felt cozy and comfortable. I had the salmon benedict and my wife had the crab omelette, both delicious! The coffee was some of the best we had on our trip. We so enjoyed it,we returned the next morning... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
