It could very well be. We warned to come early for lunch, which we did, getting about 11.45am. And good job we did. The place soon filled up. The service is very quick, and food top notch. I'll be back to sample some more of the menu.

I have been devoted to this place for decades, in all of their various locations in the Sydney CBD. The skinless chicken laksa is always good, then some days the chef does something and the laksa's exceptionally good and other days it is mindblowingly, awesomely good. The crowds can be daunting but the turnover is fast and only once have... More

Probably the best Laksa in the Sydney CBD. The combination hor fun is also good. During the week this place gets busy. Think queues out the door busy. Service is fast and sharing tables is expected.

You can tell by the lunchtime crowd that this is a favourite among many. Laksa is their most popular dish but they also have daily specials. Tried the Nasi Lemak - it did not fail expectations. Taste was authentic and a delight in all senses. Enjoyed my meal here very much. Will definitely go back again. The place is not... More

Delicious Laksa in a casual setting. Not much more to say but everything to love about it. Rich flavorful soup that you want to drink. If I lived in Sydney I would be a regular!

We went for lunch, the place was packed. A nanosecond between ordering and getting a steaming hot bowl of beautifully seasoned chicken and prawn laksa - plentiful and delicious, ask for extra bean curd because it's great. We're going home to try to make this ourselves, it was that tasty! Great value for money and a fun experience.

A short walk from Wynyard train station, bustling with corporate patrons at lunch time peak. Nothing compares to this reasonably priced special laksa... very well seasoned with fresh ingredients. Try the chicken and seafood variety which you will surely enjoy. The place is packed even before noon. So try to go early and get a table to savour your meal... More

An unassuming, busy, café-style eatery, their laksa and har mee are among the best one can get in Sydney. The nasi lemak and chicken rice are also very good. We were there for lunch on a Saturday and it was crowded. Expect to share a table with like-minded strangers paying reasonable prices for authentic Malaysian hawker food. We have been... More

It's busy, it's hot, it's a long wait..... but it's well worth it. The Laksa I had here was the best I've ever had in Sydney, and if you can get over the poor ambience and 'queue line' wait lists then your taste buds will thank you for your perseverance,

Nothing fancy, more like a cafe, but the food was very nice and very reasonably priced. Good place to drop in for almost fast food style malaysian.(although the taste is very good).

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
