The kids were thrilled to finally find Roti Tissue in Oz! The queue to get a table was worth the wait. Service was fast. The staff who served us were great. Felt like we were back in KL!

Roti and Sauce = Unbeatable! Fish Curry = Amazing! Service tonite was quick but flawed - rice did not appear (after 3 reminders) but we were not charged. After a 15 minute wait outside and no rice we would still go back again tomorrow! That's saying something! Roti Kanai at $7 = best feel-good cheap meal in town!

My favourite Malaysian eatery outside of Malaysia and Singapore. In particular the Roti is fantastic! The chicken pieces, and fish curry are also both winners.

We're from perth and staying near central station, mamak was suggested to us because it was close and apparently highly rated. I read the reviews before going and anticipated a wait. When we got there, there was a line of about 15 people. The line only lasted 5mins and we were in! We ordered a savoury roti and Nasi lemak... More

Very tasty and nice food. Very busy place. Curry is very tasty, rice just perfect. We had to queue for 10min but it was worth it.

As a Brazilian that is not used to that kind of spicy food, the prawn was very hot, but also very flavourous. The roti cone with ice cream was very nice. The staff is great.

Corner of China Town/Darling Harbour. Just WOW, just great Malaysian Street food. Always a queue outside and worth the wait. They do incredible Malaysian food but some borders on Indian curries (Lentil which is really tasty with the fresh fluffy Malay Roti made on-site). The food is presented well and the service is excellent. Not expensive. Spicy Chicken rice is... More

It's not that often that I come across restaurants that serve Malaysian cuisine. When a friend who lived in Sydney recommended this as a must-visit spot in Chinatown/Haymarket area, I jumped at the chance. He warned me about the long queue but it went pretty quickly (granted it was early Wednesday evening). Seeing the chefs in front as they prepare... More

A walk through Chinatown is a feast for the senses where aromas, tastes, sounds and visions of dancing tigers transport you to a different world. Chinatown visitors can expect a melting pot of Asian food at the neighbourhood's specialty delis and groceries. From yum cha to handmade noodles, BBQ ducks hanging in the window to Asian sweets and bakeries, there is something for all tastes.
