This restaurant has no regard to customer service, they rely on their location and do not understand the importance of Communication.

Perched on top of the International Ocean Terminal at Circular Quay is Yuki's. Sit inside or out, watch the harbour traffic buzz, sample a wide range of Japanese meals but especially the high quality seafood while sipping a cold Asahi or sake. The staff are attentive and elegant, and Shu Sugisaki is there to provide advice on your meal choices... More

Don't sit inside. Ask for an outdoor table and enjoy an uninterrupted view of the harbour, the Opera house and the city. The food is nicely done. The wagyu is to die for.

A balmy evening. A table on the balcony. A Saturday evening. Unobstructed views of the quay, the opera house and the Harbour. And yet the restaurant was still only half full. "Why", was my first question. I have to say up front - we had a great time. We had no complaints, everything went well. Still, that question... why isn't... More

Obviously the best thing about this restaurant is the fabulous view overlooking Sydney Opera House. You couldn't find a more ideal place for a summer evening. The restaurant offers online booking on their website, but it didn't work, so I ended up having to ring to make the booking. No big deal, but a nuisance. I must say the menu... More

Lovely Japanese cuisine with reasonable price for the great location. Particular best view if you like to showcase the Opera House during the Vivid Festival, either indoor seat or outdoor seat. Gurantee your guests will be impressed.

Beautiful sushi, fried chicken also amazing. Drinks are well priced and the view of the opera house is beautiful. Recommend for couples and plenty of room for the family.

Although a bit on the expensive side, especially if you drink Japanese sake, this place provides you nice selection of authentic Japanese cuisines with a wonderful view of Sydney Opera House. All sushi and sashimi are served with very fresh seafood, along with other typical Japanese authentic appetizer plates. Great services by an attentive and friendly staff should be well... More

We went for the set menu and received course after course of beautifully presented fabulous dishes. The sashimi boat, the wagyu beef, and a stunning ice cream desert were highlights but all courses perfectly hit the mark. The view of course is a welcome addition, but the food is the star.

Went to yuki's to celebrate my 30th! Food was nice but didn't warrant the price. Sushi rolls were nice, udon was a bit cold and the entrees were tasty but portions were small for the price. Probably wouldn't come back to be honest. Sake is down the road and is a whole lot better.

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
