We had dinner here and had a good evening in this nice looking Italian restaurant. The bread to start with is a bit to much herbs and the olive oil is spicy (peppers in it) so you loose taste. Starters and mains are good quality...More

We were recommended this restaurant by our AirBnB host. We were lucky to get a seat and were seated at the long table (European style) as you are meant to book. The choice of food is anything but pedestrian. You can go for traditional Italian...More

Quaint little Italian restaurant that felt completely authentic to me when ten of us dined there after taking a Kangarific Tour into the Hunter Valley. We went with the $75 fixed price menu and ate quite well. It all started with baked olives – small,...More

The italian youve been looking for. At least I have been. There are lots of italian restaurants around at various standards. This is the one. Home made pasta, good service, great food, good wine list, nice surroundings. Will be returning for more very soon.

My wife and I came there on October 28 for dinner. Collectively, from entrees, main and dessert, it was the best meal I've ever eaten. I could not fault it. Simplicity is the key with their meals. Quality ingredients, done simply but combined so well;...More

I tried a lot of the “top” restaurants in Sydney and this was probably my favorite meal. The pasta is literally being made when you walk in the door. Incredible and friendly staff.

My friend's hubby was confined at St Vincent's hospital and we would always pass this small restaurant with a long table inside. We were intrigued by the crowd ever night so we decided to give it a try. My friend had the mushroom gnocchi and...More

This place has fantastic service and amazing food. The prices are a bit pricey but you pay for what you get. We spent our 8 year anniversary at this venue and it was the perfect choice!

Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney,
Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other

feature “diva shows” and dancing until the morning.

If you're after an individual table I'd recommend booking. I've only ever been as a walk-in and have always been seated on the communal table (Darlinghurst). Whilst I haven't requested an individual table as a walk-in, I... More

Description
A Tavola was established in 2007 in buzzing Darlinghurst on Victoria Street by chef owner Eugenio Maiale. A Tavola quickly earnt a reputation of being one of Sydney's best places to go for authentic Italian pasta. The long marble table is filled with loyal and regular diners - all seduced by the simplicity and honesty of Eugenio's food and especially his love of good pasta.
