Amazing Korean BBQ! Don't let the alleyway fool you. Beef and pork belly were sublime. Bipimbap and teriyaki chicken amazing.

Heard about this place online, found it down a side alley next to a row of Korean restaurants on Pitt Street, and was told it would be a 15-minute wait for a table. I'm glad I took the time to wait, because I know this can discourage diners who don't want to wait, but it was definitely worth it. I... More

A group of seven ate at Madang during the week. We had heard that Friday and weekend nights can mean a long wait. After a 10 minute wait, we scored a table upstairs where there was plenty of room for groups. Some of our group had selected choices before we arrived so ordering didn't involve indecision at the table. We... More

Great place to hang out (business or pleasure) or any celebration with friends or family. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food are extremely nice. Seafood pancake, spicy/mild hotpot/steamboat and potatoes noodle stir fried with seafood, are those highly recommended. Reservation in advance for dinner time are recommended as they are very busy with long waiting line. Especially dinner time on... More

Decent BBQ / their beef is good Short ribs are decent too I've done the hot pot a few times and seafood but I come back to the BBQ beef every time I prefer to sit downstairs as upstairs gets a bit smokey. It's a repeat when I'm Sydney

If you're in Sydney and in Korean town area, you must come here. The food is really good. Service were quick and can't go wrong with the value. The portions are reasonable. Got to have to Korean rice soju, Raw beef salad and pork belly are amazing. Must try to raw beef salad. Trust me. Marinated beef is good too.

This was our first experience with Korean BBQ and we loved it. We weren't really sure what we were doing but the staff were quite helpful even though there was a bit of a language barrier. We got the marinated chicken and beef as you have to have a minimum of two meat dishes. Lots of sides which were interesting... More

Good food, good value, quick service. All members of the family had something they all enjoyed! The decor could be improved and the restaurant was noisy.

Dear Madam/Sir, RE: Madang Korean Restaurant in Sydney is one of the popular places to eat and enjoy fabulous Korean cuisine and charcoal Barbique. The Korean drink soju is served and the sumptuous meal portion is by large the greatest in any restaurant. Thank You
