The reviews were all correct. Really good mid priced sushi. Fresh, constant churning out of sushi, even at 2100 on a Friday night. If it validates the place any, all the staff, including the chefs were Japanese. Friendly, efficient Japanese service. Customers were happy despite a pretty long queue. Great selection of sushi constantly coming out. Will return!

I would definitely recommended coming here for sushi. The place is small and it does get busy, but there is a fast turnaround. The sushi are really fresh and very price are reasonable. Plenty of choice sushi. The staffs are really nice and attentive.

They have a small shop in the front for take away that is very reasonably priced!! Super good! The inside is also good. The food gets a bit pricey if you order too many items if you arent careful. Good service and food seems fresh!.

I went to the one in military road. I like the interior design of the restaurant. It's got high sense of design. Good service, staff is polite, food is great. I chose $5 plate or more than than one. It's worth to eat high price plate. Because it's design is better and taste as well. Agedashi to-fu was bit hard... More

Every time that I am so hungry I go to sushi train, lots of option, fresh Japanese food and ready to eat, you don't have to wait for a waitress to take your order! Just come in, seat and grab a plate

Normally have to wait to get in it's always busy for dinner. Reasonably priced dishes and service respectable considering how busy they are. If you've not done a sushi train great way to start. Just ask for rules if not familiar. The green tea was ok for western people no where near as good as what you get in Tokyo... More

With the recent change in laws at other areas of Sydney, Newton has become quite popular and the streets and booming and all hours of the day. Not expecting this, we didn't book anywhere for dinner and turning up, there were several restaurants completely booked or with a long wait to get in. We found Sushi Train, a place to... More

Until Sushi Wow came along this was the best Sushi in Newtown. Still great food and always fun watching the chefs do their thing.
