Enjoyed a couple of dinners at Todd on Barra - food pretty tasty and service also good. Worth having a think about the A$48 fixed price menu which includes a glass of either Chardonnay or Shiraz. We all thought the Barramundi and the Roo fillets were tasty.

We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary with a lunch date at Barra on the Todd. The staff and service was exceptional they decorated our table with flowers and candles which over looked the pool. They also provided us with complimentary drinks for our special occasion. Food was great and we had a lovely afternoon.

We stayed at the Chifly resort to which this restaurant is attached. We had two dinners and one breakfast. We couldn't be bothered to go into town but this is probably a better restaurant than those in town anyway. Good menu. Several dishes with the barramundi speciality - I had the curry which was excellent. My wife had the herb... More

I am a little reluctant to review this restaurant as I spoke to the restaurant manager telling him I would rather speak to him than post a less than complimentary review as most of our evening was fine. Let's start with the good stuff. The meal was nice and the table service was good. Nothing spectacular about either but nothing... More

Great continental or buffet breakfast. Lunch has usual offerings and great value for money. I personally allergic to seafood/fish so found dinner choices quite limited, but staff went out of their way to come up with options to ensure that I could enjoy a meal. Staff and service were excellent. 3 night stay added to this problem, but staff became... More

We ate here twice. The service was good though most staff seemed to be backpackers. The salmon fetacinni was fabulous. If you arrive at this hotel late ish or just can't be bothered to go out I would recommend it.

Decided to have breakfast as we are travelling to Sydney. We were greeted with a smile and asked to take a table. It is almost buffet style with eggs to order. They have a full array of food and drink. The poached eggs were cooked as requested, my only criticism and it is a personal view was that the bacon... More

Nice environment. The starters came rather quick and was really good. We had to wait for the maincources for almost one and a half hour. When they finally arrived they were ok, not more.

The main Waiter ( European ) could have been more welcoming - brusk and indifferent but the young guy off soon to Uni in Melbourne was more than able to make up for this service deficit ! The barramundi filo pastry wrap starters were excellent as was the chicken main course. For our Vegan diner, the offer was tempting and... More

This bustling restaurant was busy with a pre-wedding gathering as well as hotel guests and others. Arriving towards the end of service we felt rushed. I decided to have barramundi but was disappointed that the sauce overwhelmed the fish. At 100 dollars for two main courses this was over-priced. Based on the popularity perhaps we were tired and failed to... More
