We visited with a large business group for dinner. The service was very good as was the wine. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend the gnocchi. Highly recommend if you are in Brisbane.

We went on Sunday for lunch - Despite initial service being slow (20 minutes for our drinks to come) this place was amazing! The food selection is not huge but the value for money, taste and presentation was outstanding. I had the market fish (Kingfish)...More

We went for dessert. Did not disappointed. The restaurant was very busy but despite this the dessert was delicious and service impeccable.

First time we tried this restaurant. Had heard great things about Enoteca so thought we would see for ourselves. Certainly didn't disappoint. Very authentic Italian food and style. Absolutely great wine selection as well. Best Italian in Brisbane I suspect.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here in July 2018. We had the Roman menu with matching wines. The whole experience was magnificent. Great atmosphere, food and wine. Will definitely be back.

We were four adults and two children who, despite booking a week in advance could only manage an outdoor table. Still, it was quite pleasant with the heaters going, enjoying the ambience of the Gabba. Impeccable service. Sound advice with the menu and wines. The...More

Delightful Italian restaurant with not overly complicated or fussy dishes. Enjoyed sharing some starters, bread, mushrooms, zucchini flowers and Vitello Tonnato was delicious. Good selection of mains and fish was cooked perfectly. Heart warming choices of pasta especially the sand crab linguini. Tiramisu an absolute...More

What a great find in the Gabba area. Three of us joined for lunch at Enoteca. The setting is great.... you could easily be forgiven for thinking you are in an Italian restaurant in Lygon Street Melbourne. It has that same feel to it.... very...More

Hi Craig - we have since heard from another family dining the same night as we did (one of them is a work colleague) that they had the same experience with the waitress that we did. It is a shame that the restaurant avoids... More

Description
1889 Enoteca is part of the heritage listed Moreton Rubber Works building (circa 1889) located in the antique quarter of Woolloongabba. We have incorporated a restaurant & wine bar along with a basement level cellar for private dining & functions for up to 42 people. We offer traditional Roman fare which is made to be enjoyed in our relaxed but sophisticated setting. Our menu showcases the freshest produce available & the pasta & bread that we offer is and made by our chefs on a daily basis which is testament to our commitment to quality. Our wine list is an encyclopedia of artisan producers with a particular focus on natural winemakers. Natural winemaking involves using indigenous yeasts, minimal (if any) chemicals & little technological intervention. Many of these wines are organic, biodynamic & have been picked personally by the owners who have visited the vineyards. Our wines have a story!
