We had dinner here twice while we were staying in Fortitude Valley. Service was great, lady owner explained all the dishes we had no idea about. Food was really good, so we came back again. Chicken dumpling entree was awesome. Would recommend for Chinese food on a budget. Great value for money

We needed takeaway food for five on a Sunday night and Tripadvisor reviews helped us find it. We met a friendly local who was already ordering and confirmed that Peking Duck was the right choice. We added honey king prawns and pork char siu and with special fried rice and boiled rice we were all well fed for $112. The... More

Great food and service. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Host suggested a banquet which had lots of variety - all good. Thanks Helen for an enjoyable and tasty lunch.

Great duck, the service from the owner was good, she was sweet. It lacked atmosphere as we were the only ones there. But that was probably down to the time of day.

Had the absolute pleasure of eating at Yee Foong tonight. This understated restaurant is in Chinatown 196 Wickham st, Fortitude Valkey Brisbane, and could easily be overlooked due to its simplistic presentation. What the decor lacks is made up for by the service, and stunningly clean authentic flavours. I as always, used google search to find somewhere for dinner, and... More

I've been going to this restaurant for the last three years semi-regularly, and it's my favourite Chinese food in Brisbane. The elderly couple who own the restaurant are adorable and friendly, eager to please and happy to recommend, and I've never walked out without a piece of fruit tucked into my hand after paying. While I've been in, I've even... More

This place is across the road from the main hustle and bustle places. We originally changed our mind and walked across the street because no one was in the restaurant at 7.00pm on a Wednesday night. But we prevailed and had some very nice food indeed. Peking duck, pork and some vegetables was all very nice indeed. The service was... More

Don't be put off by the dull lighting - this is a lovely hidden restaurant with great food and value. I visited with a friend as we wanted to try somewhere new. We were greeted by a lovely old couple who offered us drinks and took our order. The lady then promptly cooked up our food and made sure we... More

Very friendly service, though a bit too much attention was given to my table as approx 50 percent of the time I had the lady owner at my table. The restaurant was empty. Food was good, nice size however was a little cold. Very bad decor...no effort to make the place look appealing. I dont think the fraganced wet wipes... More
