So my hubby and i decided to have a luxurious dinner to celebrate and after ordering we thought with their expensive prices the food must be delicious only to find out their chicken karage looked and tasted like a streetfood fried chicken. I am an avid japanese food fan. An asian that is used to having japanese meals worldwide. This... More

I had an unexpected dinner here after my reservation with another place fell through, and I have to say I was very impressed. There didn't seem to be any room for my friend and I on a bustling Saturday night, but the lovely hostess was able to put us outside under a fairy light tree in the bar. Our waitress,... More

Tried Sake for the first time tonight and was very impressed! Our waiter was outstanding, sorting us out with a table despite not booking and catering for a few odd requests by members of our group happily. The food was delicious - I couldn't fault it. Will be back in the near future!

My friends and I visited for a restaurant crawl along Eagle Street Pier. We were served by Steven who provided exceptional customer service. His friendliness was by far the best we experienced all night. A few restaurants would not accept us as we were only going to order entrees however, Steven welcomed us and was very interested to hear about... More

A really nice experience. Busy, but that makes it extra special. We had more of a grazing menu, we just had plates of tasty Japanese food delivered until we could eat no more. Great!

Enjoyed a celebration dinner at this nicely located restaurant. The hospitality provided was excellent by our waitresses. Very keen to satisfy our every need. The tastes available on the menu are superb but be prepared to pay quite a lot for what you get. The servings are by no means large, meaning you need to order quite a few different... More

This place is amazing! Make sure you call ahead to find out when the Patagonian Toothfish is in season as it's devine! The service is outstanding, I have 13 years experience, training people to gain customer service skills and these guys have hit the mark, if not exceeded. We have brought my mother, who does not like to eat anything... More

We've been to Sake a few times and are always very satisfied with the quality of ingredients and preparation. They serve a modern take on traditional Japanese dishes with a beautiful refined setting. Be prepared to leave with an empty wallet, as these delicious servings of small dishes add up.

We recently had Sunday lunch at Sake. Nice location overlooking Eagle Street Pier and the river. The food was very good, however the service, although friendly, was a tad lacking as we were left sitting without menus for quite some time when first seated. Be aware the wine list is quite expensive.
