you will be disappointed overall. The candy and cake are of a high standard but the sandwiches are of poor quality. The hot pastries are straight from the freezer and defrosted. The ones I had were still frozen on the inside. Waste of time and money

The Stamford Plaza offers events to suit all occasions. The High Tea is a great idea for a couple or a large group to relax and indulge in the treats on offer. I went for a girls' work event so it was nice and classy and sitting outside provides some stunning views along the Brisbane River. The treats were super... More

For the price you pay $49 per person the quality of the food should be better and the choices were average. I don't think they had pastry chef's making the desserts.... The quality was not there.

Went here with my mum and sisters in law for my pre-wedding high tea. It was absolutely awful, given the price and venue. To be fair, they try to get away with calling the mid-week one "afternoon tea" which I think is just code for "this is going to be average". The scones were the best thing, but the slices/cakes... The food was tantalising, decadent, sinful and what women want. So many choices and all different tastes. But be careful. You are sure to put on a few pounds. But it's definitely worth it.

I have had high tea here several times. Each time it has been just lovely. You can sit inside or outside but we have always chose to sit inside. There is a huge choice of food. Staff have always been very friendly and efficient

You can choose outdoors(under cover) and indoors seating. The view is magnificient and the food divine. Fabulous array of gourmet sandwiches and sweet treats. Service average to attentive depending on waitress.

Went to the Stamford afternoon tea on a Saturday, the chocolate buffet version. The good stuff...there was a good enough selection for both non chocolate and chocolate lovers with the regular favourites of scones and finger sandwiches bolstered by a selection of chocolaty and sweet desserts and a few savoury pastries as well. Initial service was very attentive and the... More

This is my second High Tea at the Stamford Plaza that was raised to the level of an afternoon Soirée by a classical pianist playing most of my favourite pieces. Brisbane lacks this type of event where you are entertained whilst enjoying a delightful afternoon tea. A wonderful outing for anyone who enjoys classical music. My only criticism was that... More
