I dropped into Quay West Suites on Thursday night to wait for my daughter while she went to a concert at the Riverstage! Arranged to meet a mate/client at McMahons Restaurant to chat over a few things while I waited. Booked a table through Emily who also served us, she was delightful, always attentive and some good banter I had... More

Tried the scallops for entree and crispy skin salmon for main followed by pear tarte tatin for dessert. Everything tasted quite nice and appropriate to the dish but a little bland at times. May visit again if I'm near the restaurant/on the street. Service could improve a little but nothing extremely shabby. I understand that this restaurant is new? So... More

We ate here with a family group of 5 while staying at this lovely place and after ordering breads/entree/main to be served in that order, waited an hour and 10 mins for the entree to be delivered first and were told the bread would be out with the main as they forgot it. At this stage we didnt even have... More

Breakfast was included with our stay so we thought it might be a buffet breakfast but it wasn't. We could help ourselves to coffee, tea and juices but the meals were picked from the menu. There wasn't a separate kids menu but we did find something suitable for everyone. Two of our kids had waffles which were delicious although both... More

We dined here with friends on a Saturday lunchtime. There were only 2 other diners in a that time. Menus and water came out spasmodically, which was a sign of things to come. We ordered and waited and waited until finally our meals came out. The food itself was quite nice. Two of our party ordered cheese platters and we... More

My husband and I just returned from a fabulous 2 night stay at Quay West Suites in Brisbane. Breakfast At McMahons was included in the room rate. I was expecting a basic continental breakfast but we were very pleasantly surprised that the breakfast menu is a la carte. There is a good selection and I enjoyed my Traditional Breakfast served... I visitied McMahons Restaurant for dinner with my wife and we were both thoroughly impressed with every aspect of our dining experience. My wife and I frequently dine out and McMahons was up there with the very best that Brisbane has to offer. From the moment we arrived we were happily greeted and promptly shown to our table.
