I was walking along Pulteney Street and I had a choice of Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian or the Pub across the road. The Vietnam Kitchen certainly drew my attention as the decor looked fresh and cosy. I did not see any Asians inside and only Caucasians. The waiter was efficient but seemed to lack the skill in hospitality. He was... More

Came in with a friend 10 mins before closing and we're greated very politely and told it wasn't a ptoblem. Food came out very fast and was fresh and delicious cold rolls were the best I've had. Definitely would go again and definitely would recommend you check it out.

Dined here with friends and the experience was so varied as to be weird. We shared a number of entrees and main courses and all of the food was tasty and well prepared--in addition the service was ok although we had to catch the attention of the waitress several times to get drinks service. What was strange however was at... More

We had the seafood and chicken laksa for lunch. Great flavours but a little skimpy on meat/seafood. Fast service. A surprise on the inside, not expected from outside.

A favourite eatery, it is great to see this family run restaurant maintains its quality and value. Away from the CBD but easy to find a park and continue in to CBD later.

The Vietnam Kitchen delivers excellent food, very fresh and can be modified to suit different palates. Their soft shell crab is outstanding as is their Vietnamese Salad. For a reasonably quick meal this place is ideal but if you want to linger you need to tell the staff that you want the meal delivered as you want and not get... More

This is my go-to restaurant whenever I have vietnamese food craving. They offer a wide range of Asian food from authentic vietnamese dish like pho to Pad Thai or Curry. The soft shell crab and eggplant are to die for. Very attentive and helpful wait staffs. Would definitely come back again and again.
