These guys served us some cheap nasty moonshine in place of the Canadian Club we ordered. It's a drink we know and love and as soon as it was put in front of me I knew the colour was wrong, then the taste and smell...More

Sorita_11 I can 100% tell you we do not and never have watered down any of our drinks or used a lower quality product and tried to pass it off as something else. I've got the invoices to prove it.. I would appreciate it if...More

I should begin by saying that this review and rating is as a pub only and I cannot comment on the food as we did not eat there. It is situated in a fine old building near the end of Rundle Street and the Botanic...More

Had dinner and a few drinks here with work mates and had an enjoyable evening in this vibrant pub. A good range of beer including good Guinness and the food was quality pub food and large in portion sizes (if you have the snitzel). Would...More

For the past few weeks. My partner and I stop here for a couple pints in the arvo after work. Great atmosphere, fantasitic staff and a great place to wind down after a busy day.

Very welcome pub interior with dining area on raised section with wooden balustrade surround., featuring old printing paraphernalia. Good pub food menu but, being Seniors, we chose to share a BBQ Taste Platter from the Mains section. Pork Spare Ribs and Pulled Pork amazingly tender,...More

Went here on Friday lunchtime and the restaurant was surprisingly quiet. From a good menu I chose to have an Irish Stew (naturally) and was presented with one of the best stews I have ever tasted. My partner had Guinness Pie and was equally pleased....More

We go here for a light lunch which also has a glass of wine or Guinness. The staff are very friendly mostly from Ireland. The lunch is good pub food. Nice music and private areas with Irish memorability and character . Very good Guinness

I've ducked in and out of here on so many occasions over the years, rarely being satisfied, but I do think it has improved of late. Went for a couple of Fringe shows, and while there are the usual surly hipster staff, the product is...More

Hi Beccy, it saddens me to hear you didn't enjoy your time with us. I wouldn't say we're "dark and Dreary" but more ill-lit and quaint, which are characteristics of an Irish pub. We hope you come back and give us another go. We offer...More
