Great place to visit. Fabulous selection of art work from local and mainland artists. Good coffee. We did not have a meal but I expect that it would have been good too. The gardens were lovely and the kangaroos lazing around the place were happy and obviously felt safe. Highly recommended for many reasons including the joy to support an... More

check opening times first, not a huge menu but food is nice though I had the calamari and the dressing overpowered it so only got the texture of the calamari not the taste, nice collection of jewellery nice garden area out the back to sit and eat or have a coffee

We liked this place. Stopped randomly but enjoyed the friendly welcome. The gallery is interesting. If you're not into art check out the motorbikes. Food was OK but it was an unusual day so were happy to get what we did (meatballs, baguette and fritatta) they were all good. Likely to come back even on our short stay.

A wonderful little spot, just outside of Vivonne Bay on Kangaroo Island, Rustic Blue is a must go venue when visiting the island. Meals are tasty and well priced, Coralie and Smiley, the owners are genuinely friendly and accommodating as are the staff. The art works showcase local talent and cover an ecclectic range of crafts. A little place for... More

Our stop at Rustic Blue has to be a highlight of our trip to the south of Kangaroo Island. We were met by Smillie, the owner, and made very welcome. The artworks and handcrafts were both inspiring and reflected the special nature of the island. And the coffee and tea were great.

Just happened on this amazing little cafe gallery, and what a find. Due to a staffing problem the menu was limited to three items, all of which sounded delicious and the two we chose were exactly that. Coralie and Smiley are most welcoming. It wasn't very busy and they both took time to have a yarn with us. Such interesting... More

Nice to come in out of the heat and peruse the artwork on display. Great coffee in a relaxing atmosphere. Nice outdoor area too.

Combine good coffee, artworks from around Australia, animal life and lovely gardens, music (at times) from Smilie and Coralie, great hosts and interesting venue. I rate it as one of the better KI galleries and coffee stops.
