Deceiving from the outside. Pleasantly surprised. Great retro furnishings. Staff very pleasant. Menu was amazing, as was the coffee. A semi hidden treasure. Lucky locals!

Quality all round. Great food, generous servings at a very reasonable price. Well supported by locals and has a good vibe. Nothing to fault. It can get busy , definitely worth a visit.

I visited Ginger Brown after walking Mount Wellington, what a nice way finish to the evening. Great dirty chai and the Mexican bean dish, just what I needed to refuel. Will visit there again today. The staff were very friendly.

I went to Ginger Brown for breakfast. Friendly staff in a very nice environment. The food was amazing (toast with omelette and mushrooms), good coffee and reasonable price.

Always pretty busy and it is for good reason! The service is so friendly, fantastic coffees and the food - amazing - classic with a modern twist, which suits the style of the café. It's probably best to book even though there is plenty of seating, it's just that popular! I would also recommend the Virgin Mary's!

Short drive out of the city to South Hobart and well worth it. Had a delicious lunch and the cold pressed juices are refreshing. Very busy but was seated quickly and the service was great.

This cafe was very busy. The breakfast menu and service was good. Reasonably priced and some good cake options too

Hubby and I decided to have breakfast out with our six year old and we went to Ginger Brown... Wonderful service and the incredible girls/guys remember what we usually drink. They don't have a specific kids menu but they are always happy to serve our little girl just the bacon she loves...mind you we have to keep a good watch... More

Everything I have had has been delicious from the egg dishes to the salads, particularly the duck salad. Coffee and desserts are a nice way to complete a meal.
