I usually dont go to Indian restaurants if not highly recommended as otherwise I feel I do injustice to my taste buds (I dont mind experimenting with other cuisines but Indian needs to be authentic for me). Chillies was a mixed bag, I would be brutally honest, few of the dishes were good for instance the Buttech chicken masala is... More

Nice little place tucked away off the main road in Sandy Bay. Varied and delicious menu. Banquet selection is worth considering. Turned up with no reservation and place full. Lucky to get a table. Great service and moderate prices. I'll be going back.

Beautiful place with delicious and tasty food. Loved it. Just 1 thing... if they would display the HALAL certificate for muslims, it would be the best place.

My friends and I arrived at 8:30 on a Sunday, with our initial numbers rising from 6 to 9 the staff were happy to accommodate and move us to a larger area. The service was prompt and friendly and didn't seem bothered by our awkward questions and changes to the order. The meals came out all together and less than... More

I get my take away here every couple of weeks and am always salivating by the time I get it home, the smell of fresh spice mixes is so potent. Really friendly staff just add to the experience.

It's hard to beat a good Indian curry on a cold night, or a weekend. We visit Hobart regularly and have been here a few times over the last year or two for both take-away and eat-in. It's located in Sandy Bay, just out of the Hobart CBD - this is a nice part of the world. The restaurant is... More

We visited this restaurant on a cold Monday night, so it was a bit quiet. But it had a lovely atmosphere & was a really enjoyable visit, with good service and great food. The butter chicken & fish curry were really tasty and not too hot. I'd definitely visit this place again for good, consistent quality food - in summer... More

We were staying just up the street and had walked past chillies a couple of times deciding to give it a go. The staff are super friendly and helpful plenty of choice of both dishes and drinks. The food is very good with large serves. We will be visiting again next time we are in the hobart area.

We had takeaway once and ate in once. The food was fresh, interesting and well balanced. It was a good serving size and prices were reasonable. Worth a vist.
