Limited menu and higher than average market prices - I think they need to justify the view May bee if the relooked at the whole presentation they would get more people

As a local, like many of us Hobartians, the 'revolving' is more of a special occasion type restaurant you treat yourself to maybe once or twice a year. My wife and I have frequented it many times over the past decade, and last night was...More

Had the pleasure once again of dining at The Point on 17 February. Truly brilliant food and wonderful service, it's nice to see that some establishments know how to do things right! Well done to all the staff - thank you!

Exceptional modern French fusion cuisine in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere - enjoy great food and wine while the world slowly revolves around you. Expensive but well worth the effort - be sure to book in advance as they are almost always full!

Revolving restaurants (or other gimmicks) can often be about the location rather than the food – not so here! The views are stunning, décor is reminiscent of ‘Mad Men’ 1960s chic – classy without being kitsch! The food and service are five star – nothing...More

Yes the decor needs improving however the attention to detail with the food and service is exceptional. Others have described the food well enough. All I can add is that three of us had the stake diane. One blue one medium and one medium to...More

This restaurant ticks all the boxes. From the moment you step out of the lift on the 17th floor you are treated with silver service. You are escorted to your seat, with the staff pulling your seat out and placing your servitte on your lap....More

We had been regular diners at The Point for a while until about 10 years ago we stopped going. Like everything too much of a good thing, even a great thing creates over familiarity. That is why, after a ten year hiatus coming back to...More

A fantastic restaurant with the best view in Hobart. Service was exceptional and food was also just as great. The interior is a little dated and could do with a revamp but the menu was great and enjoyed the meal being cooked before your eyes...More

If you were seated early and the children were well behaved it should not be an issue. It is more suited to adults, as it is romantic at night. it is an ideal place for a wedding proposal.

Seventeen floors above the River Derwent, The Point Revolving restaurant at Wrest Point radiates 'special occasion.' When the doors open and the view unfolds, you'll understand why The Point has been a backdrop of memorable dining for over 40 years. This Hobart restaurant is committed to people, produce and place. Our French inspired menu weaves some of Tasmania's finest ingredients into a dining experience punctuated with theatre and flair. Like the sound of Crepe Suzette cooked at your table with flair by our waiter staff? We love to put on a show at Wrest Point Tasmania, and this extends to dining. What's more, beyond the table entertainment, rolling views of Hobart's city, Tasman Bridge and Mount Wellington are priceless. If you want to celebrate, spoil those close and mark a new memory, let us set you a table at the top.
