The service here is very warm and friendly and our food arrived quickly and efficiently. We were impressed by the quality and flavours and the serving sizes were generous. We ordered one vegetarian dish and one beef dish and both were delicious - some of the best Indian food we have had. Would not hesitate to return if we are... More

Food was OK but it was NOT worth waiting for more than 50 minutes for entree when people who entered the restaurant after you were served with food before you. We got our entree after 50 minutes. Then again waited for main curries for 15 -20 minutes followed by 10 minutes wait for rotis which were served in two slots.

Indian food is difficult to categorise based on regional and even individual differences of approach. But it must be authentic and anglicised as was the case here. I have to say that I have tasted better but also worse Indian fare. It was edible. The meal we had was Ok but nothing really authentic that knocked you socks off. I... More

You know it's excellent when the staff know you by a first-name basis. Amazing flavour and great value. Highly recommend the vege curries and cheese and spinach naan ;)

Vegetarians often get a very poor deal, but this place offers plenty of choices that are just as exciting as those with meat, for once. The place was buzzing and the decor was very nice. All in all, my kind of place.

Arrived without a booking on a Saturday night but staff found us a corner table in the window which was great for people watching! There was only 2 of us but we were able to have the mains banquets for $24 each. This contained lots of naans, three curries, rice and accompaniments. Good service and really good food!

So we ordered the chilli prawns, scallops and the beef curry. I really enjoy my Indian but this was just an average meal as I've tasted some amazing Indian meals elsewhere in Australia. There was nothing wrong with the meals, but I thought it was too much Australian in the dishes, should have been all Indian flavour. The naan bread... More

We went twice in our four nights in Hobart. Not only is this some of the best Indian food we've eaten in Australia for flavour and variety but servings are generous, prices reasonable and service friendly and attentive. I can personal recommend the Thali I had tonight - fantastic.
