Came back to this restaurant after having last been here a couple of years ago. The food continues to be as exceptional as it was on the last occasion. Service is good. It is spacious. You will need to get a cab there. It is located on an oyster farm.

Had a fantastic meal - fresh, tasty, well presented. Service was fast, efficient and friendly. Ate parmesan and horseradish oysters for entree and grilled flounder for main. Partner had seafood chowder and crumbed morwong with salad. So much choice in the way of seafood dishes - hard to choose. Dessert was panna cotta with ultra fresh strawberries and berry coulis... We called in today for a coffee and were told they don't do coffee any more. Big mistake BB. I'm sure many people would enjoy a coffee while buying their oysters. Or would buy oysters after a coffee. The toilets were poor also - not properly cleaned or in good order.

We bought and ate the oysters at the retail shop. Thus, I was not sure the quality of oysters if we dined in the restaurant. The 1st time we ate was good but the 2nd time we went again when it was just opened early in the morning, the oysters seemed to be kept from the day before and were... More

We attended a function at Barilla Bay recently and was very impressed with their food offerings. We dont eat oysters but we had a lovely lamb dish that was melt in the mouth, nicely cooked fish and smoked salmon, all delicious. The grounds are lovely to stroll and the staff cheerful and helpful.

Dine in, oysters not crispy fresh, disappointed... Salt lick like and fishiness smell. Regret to have stopped over instead of returning to a great oyster shed I visited the day before. Other than oysters: there's NO handwash, no paper towels nor dryer available in the washroom for customers. Unbelievable for a place serving fresh oysters!

We frequently buy oysters here and always happy. Quick service and freshly shucked. Christmas busy time the rest of the year no need to order.

Nice fresh oysters, the selection was a little bit too much for two, natural ones better than cooked

Close to the airport for a first or last stop on a Tassie trip. Restaurant dining upstairs or takeaway for your own picnic!

An excellent shop downstairs where you can buy oysters and lots of other delicacies. Upstairs is the restaurant which serves terrific dinners, especially for oyster lovers. Imagine the 30 oyster plate, with oysters done in five different styles. We called in to the shop on the way home to get oysters for those who were interested.
