Nice food. Green beans is always my son's favorite. We have ordered nine dished for a group of seven people. Every single dish is yummy with generous size. Highly recommend

Handmade delicious dumplings tasting really fresh and authentic. Service was reasonable and waiting time was not long at all. Would come back again for sure.

Located in lower level, very good dumplings, reasonable price. Quick and easy lunch. Had the pan fried pork and chive dumplings, 10 dumplings in a order.

After a prolonged closure this Swanston St institution has reopened. New flooring. New pictorial menu. Same perfunctory service and excellent food. Always a good spot for snacking in a clamorous environment.

I went to Dumplings Plus at the Emporium, Melbourne (located on the Lower Ground level). Service was average but the food options are many, good lunch time specials, good value for money and something quick when your time is limited. Table space is not extensive but seating is not an issue, even when it is busy. Recommended!

Small range of food already fried and ready to eat otherwise you could sit in the small restaurant - lunch specials, good value. Prices were reasonable, taste was adequate, staff attempted to be helpful.

Won't be back. Too close to China Town . with better alternatives Food actually isn't bad but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I am a strong believer that you can serve ordinary food and give great service and you will get away with it. Here, the food is average to good but the service is woeful. There... More

Came here expecting an inexpensive, quality noodle and dumpling house but after ordering a bowl of fried rice, noodles and platter of yumcha selection, the food proved to be average. After complaining about an overly salted dish, the waiter laughed it off and didn't reimburse anything. Wouldn't recommend.

We went there for lunch and were surprised by the quality, quantity and taste of the food. It was excellent. All of us enjoyed lunch. We thought we over ordered, but we ate it all. I loved the prawn dumplings and the prawns, broccoli and cashews dish.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
