Reviewed yesterday NEW

We ordered a few dishes to try. The mini eel rice and the sushi platter (very fresh) were very good. The rest like udon noodles, tempura etc were ok. The food was reasonably price. Service was very good. The restaurant has a good vibe to it. Will come back.

Fresh sushi but limited variety. Nice eel rice with innovative presentation. Tempura and udon good. Very nice Japanese feel environment.

Nice area with the restaurant overlooking the water at Southbank. The food portions were well presented but incredibly small for the price. Sashimi platter with half a dozen slices cost $16. Sushi was fresh but the rice was not so good. Loose and crumbly. Can eat better in my local area for a fraction of the price.

My wife and I ate dinner here while staying at south wharf for our post wedding nights. The sushi was fresh and amazing, the other dishes were fantastic too. Great value for money too.

We have eaten at this restaurant a number of times over the past few years, and we have never n\been disappointed. the food is always flavorful, sometimes unusual, and always interesting. The service is attentive - and can be fast or slow, depending on what is ordered. I get the strong impression they cook from scratch, so if you order... More

Great food, service a little slow, even though the place was not busy. Try and get a table on the wharf as far more atmospheric.

I have dined here before with and without friends. Try the Tori chicken and also the Pork Belly as small meals. The hand made sushi rolls are a must. They also have taster plates for 2 people that are well worth the money. Yummy!

Located within South Wharf, this is a great little place . Food is relatively expensive but very nice. My favorite by far was the chicken wings stuffed with chicken dumpling filling. My least favorite was the wagyu beef, was very tough. Sushi was amazing. Service is ok, you can't really understand the waitresses as they talk so fast and so... More

This restaurant was chosen by my dining companion and I was completely out of my comfort zone with regards to what to order. All of the food I tried was fabulous unfortunately I have no idea what was ordered.

Thank Phil B
