Nice staff. Took a while to cook the burgers. Always nice to have it made to order. Chicken was not great. Quite greasy and was disappointed. Bun not that fresh either. Disappointed.

These guys did well. We were in Brisbane for the Good Food and Wine show and no joke there were twenty in front and thirty behind us and their grill stood up to half and hour before we got our burger and chips. Pro's: simple menu and outstanding food truck. Con's: it took us half an hour to get our... More

Best burger in Melbourne! Yummy meat and fresh ingredients. Good price as well - from $10-$15. It is worthy every single cent!

Not much more to say. The burgers are basically the quality of a Grand Angus burger from Maccas. I don't think the ingredients or flavours are either better or more interesting. Nothing wrong with that, but I don't understand the hype, the Broadsheet listings and rave reviews. And in context of the above, it's difficult to justify the price of... More

We had read some positive reviews about Mr Burger Truck online, but it was not until one day we stumbled across their CBD location near Queen Victoria Market that we decided to check them out for lunch. Both of us ordered the ‘Mr Double’ with added onion rings and a side of fries. When we got our burgers, they were... More

Good burgers, got the real American taste to them. Nice environment too. However I think $10 for a single burger alone without any chips is expensive. All in all - good burgers, expensive price.

We were basically walking everywhere in the city trying to locate the shop. The locations on the website wasn't even correct. There's one opposite the State Library of Victoria which we eventually found. Was looking forward to trying out the food as most of the reviews were good, only to realise it's just your average burger and fries. Nothing special.... More

I wasn't expecting much and i'm not a burger lover but this burger tasted really good. It tasted real with real ingredients and it tasted like a good burger! It was a little pricey and it was a little on the small side- you would need chip with it or one of the bigger burgers to call it a meal

25 min wait , 10 mins after my mate ordered at same time. The pizza chips ready 10 min before the bloody burger so cold by the time I ate then the burger is raw. Stay the hell away. $21.50 for that crap.

Had the amazing experience of going to 'Welcome to Thornbury' this evening. Brilliant vibe and atmosphere. Having travelled over from Adelaide, it had been highly recommended as a brilliant place to eat. I lined up for a true burger experience at Mr burger and ordered the Mr double and a serve of the ranch fries. Told wait times were a... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
