Very impressed for their service and food quality. I ordered XO prawn and stir fried noodles with seafoods and vegetables, and all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Suggestion: The XO prawn can be little bit more spicier

Melbourne has plenty of Chinese restaurants in the cbd. This is easily one of the best one for price vs quality.

I spent a lot of time checking reviews of the very, very many Chinese restaurants in Melbourne before deciding to visit Bamboo House. What a waste of time and calories. My partner and I love Peking Duck and it was the worst we'd ever had....More

Walked in last night which was great considering it was Chinese New Year. Ordered our meal and to be honest for the higher price we paid we were extremely disappointed. Soup was underwhelming and the fried wonton came out with tomato sauce 🤔. The next...More

Food was good. Good menu and variety. The stand out was the Peking Duck - superb. Staff were efficient but not overly friendly. Comfortable atmosphere.

The food was amazing and reasonably priced. The peking duck was excellent, one of the best I have had. The freshness of the seafood in birds nest was amazing. The scallops were sweet plump and succulent and the sauce was light. Definitely going again.

Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place
to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place
simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude
a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration
over a century ago. In restaurant after restaurant on
Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes
such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your
money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving
