Yammy and tasty seafood that warmed your stomach in cold weather. Lunch time is especially crowded luckily the restaurant have ample seats on the 2nd floor.

Checked out Oriental Spoon in the heart of the CBD for some much needed Korean BBQ😅. We smashed the Traditional Marinated Set with a pork 🐷 and kimchi clay pot. The service was fast and efficient, perfect considering we had a comedy show to see!😉 The meat was great and abundant👌. Only aspect lacking when compared with others nearby was... More

Been here a few times & still enjoyed it. Restaurant is spacious but fills up very quick even at 6pm. Be there early or book to avoid the queue. Our favourites are the seafood or pork belly kimchi soup & the soy fried chicken. This time round, we tried the combination BBQ which was nicely marinated. Had the japchae which... More

This is a favorite of mine in the city, great Korean food! We had one of the Korean BBQ packages and some fried chicken! Everything was delicious and was a great experience having the food cooked on your table! Great place to go with a group of friends!

We came to this restaurant after a long day of seeing the 12 Apostles. After all that wind we wanted something warm and comforting. Oriental Spoon did not disappoint! We ordered two each of the following: jap chae, tteokbokki, seafood pancake and casseroles (one spicy, one not). The food was absolutely delicious. The beef jap chae was probably the best... More

My daughter took my husband & I to this restaurant & it was amazing. The Korean food was delicious & the service was excellent. It is a very large restaurant & it filled up quickly. Luckily, we were early. The staff are so helpful, with many of the dishes cooked at your table. We will definitely be back.

Had a dinner with friends and chose to try korean restaurant. We ordered the marinated beef, pork and chicken for our bbq set which comes with side dishes and soup for around $55 only. The food attendant is the one who will grill stuffs while you enjoy dining. Will definitely come back as the food is yummy and staff are accommodating.

Had a table for over 10, OK service, good food and while a slightly food-hall style of seating we had an enjoyable evening. Limited wines and OK beers with reasonable markup (they said no BYO). Very authentic Korean with nearly all tables non-Euro and plenty of inter-table bowing & traditional respect. Some of the dishes were hotter than expected, but... More

If this is your first time here, I recommend you better know what you are ordering cause the item description in menu was pretty vague. We ordered a special big dish, waiter tried his best English to explain that... we were served a big dish indeed, however, it was not explained that the pork will be served as bone pieces.... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
