I have been here many times now and thought I had better write a review as I had another great meal and enjoyable experience taking friends there for the first time. I have always ordered the mixed platter and it is a great way to introduce new comers to the wonderful variety of food and spices. There are a mixture... More

Recommended by a local client, this was a great find. Amazing rich, earthy flavours. Warm happy ambience. Can't wait to go back (if I am ever hungry again!)

Absolute gem of a restaurant the Platter is both a tasty meal and a great way to share your meal with others. The Injera bread is fantastic it's spongey with a slightly sour tangy taste. Be careful there is a lot of food in the platter for two probably best to order the platter for 1 and order more if... More

Lovely helpful staff. We ordered three platters to share between three couples. A great way to sample quite a variety of their menu. Interesting selection of beers. All the food was very tasty and varied from quite mild to quite spicy. Service was quick prices moderate

3 of us shared the Chef's platter which was packed with diverse flavours and textures. Take the flat bread (injera) and using fingers fill it with delicately spiced meats, vegetables, lentils and chick peas that pack a zesty punch. Local beers available too, so you can try something different. It was a fun shared dining experience in a pleasant setting. Service... More

Been here twice with groups of about 20 people - had their banquet with a big plate shared with 4 people - flat bread with lamb, chicken, goat, fish plus salad. Good atmosphere and owner is very enthusiastic and friendly.

Places that you walk away from happy and full. So full. The n-1 rule applies here: If you have 3 people in your group, get the chefs special for 2. Great atmosphere, great food, and staff that are more like friends. Come, eat, enjoy.

I can't remember the last time I was allowed to eat with my fingers, but the sloppy mess I made here was a tribute to the amazingness of the food. When we arrived quite early we were the only ones there, but the small restaurant soon filled up and it didn't take us long to realise why. There were three... More

Went for an early dinner and ordered the meat, poultry, fish and vegetarian chefs special for two and was throughly impressed. Jonathan our waiter was very attentive and incredibly friendly. The food came within 10 minutes of ordering and it was spectacular. All the different parts of the meal worked wonderfully with each other with each part complimenting the other.... More
