4 friends went for Yum Cha expecting great food based on the reviews. We were sorely disappointed. Food was average, some dumplings were cold. We expected trolley service but it didn't happen. Don't be fooled by the reviews. Not an authentic Yum Cha experience or...More

Please never change this place, laminex tables, and absolutely zero attention to decor- so its just about the food. Dumplings are very good value. Other meals are fine.

Unassuming outside but dumplings to die for. Rich broth and perfect sticky dough. The xihu style steamed duck also very tasty. Forgot our rice but waitress was quick to notice despite a full house. Reasonably priced.

We stumbled across this place and it was packed so we took it as a sign of good food. It was ok. If you are after quick service, quirky atmosphere, cheap beers - this is it. The restaurant itself is quite run down, more like...More

It is not flash, it's not polished, it's not fancy, but they know how to make simply good dumplings. It's a great place for cheap dumplings and beer with friends.

Let's be reasonable: nobody comes here for the experience. They come here for cheap, fast, tasty dumplings. On that front, it delivers. It's loud, poorly furbished and not particularly friendly, but the food is good.

Seriously, go somewhere else for Chinese, there is a million others in Chinatown to go for! This was the absolute worst food I have eaten for as long as I can remember, I cannot understand how this place has customers queing! Ordered the pork dumplings,...More

This place was fun, really average service but that's not what you go for! Atmosphere and genuine dumpling house feel, the dumplings were really delicious. Definitely recommend getting a mix of vege / meat dumplings and also jam some vege garlic dishes, they're bomb as.

Visited the restaurant as my UK guest wanted to have the dumplings after falling in love with it after trying it in Hong Kong Airport. We were told to go to the 3rd floor as there were only 2 of us. After walking up there...More

Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place
to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place
simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude
a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration

Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes
such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your
money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving

Hi, sorry not sure - I did see quite a lot of children in there, but can't recall if there were any babies in highchairs.
Hi, do you have MSG free options? And gluten free now? Thanks.

Umm I don't think so. You don't go there for things like that. You go there for dirty dumplings that taste delicious while trying not to think about what's really in them.

Not a lot of gluten free options here. Possibly some of the meat and rice dishes. Probably safer going Vietnamese.
