Happy that we decided to venture into this Thai restaurant when looking for a dinner venue. Unpretentious premises but nothing unpretentious about the food. We managed to be seated inside and ordered a couple of spring roll serves for starters and followed by the Nam...Tok for my wife and the Crispy Pork Belly for myself. Seriously good food, freshly made, mouthwatering, a real taste of Thailand. Friendly gracious service. So busy on the night with diners both inside and al fresco plus a steady stream of customers for take-away. A little gem of a restaurant.More

Food is tasty and wholesome. Spiced as you like, just ask. Good value and friendly staff. Dine inside or outside (weather permitting). This is a cosy restaurant, well worth a try. You won't be disappointed.

I recently ate in at the Wok and Ladle in Hay Street East Perth for dinner with my wife and parents in law. After reading the great reviews on Tripadvisor I/we thought we'd try it out. After ordering our meals at the counter they arrived...relatively quickly considering they were busy with their core business of takeaway. We ordered two entrees - spring rolls and prawn rolls and three mains - chicken & seafood Pad Thai's and a Massaman curry. To say the least we were underwhelmed with the bland tastes of the Pad Thai's and curry. The entrees though were tasty. I have travelled to Asia a number of times including Vietnam and in my opinion the food lacked the sweet, sour, spicy and salty tastes which are an integral part of Asian cuisine. Perhaps I was expecting to much for what I read in the reviews, including a well decored sit in restaurant.More

Was looking for a place to eat that was close to our Fringe Festival venue and I saw this on Google maps. I was wanting a vegetarian or vegan option so was glad when I saw their menu on their Facebook page. Great service, great...prices and delicious food. I had the garlic and pepper vegetables with steamed rice and my friend had the chicken and prawn pad thai which she said was yum. There’s a small free parking place just behind it on Shilling St.More

I love this little restaurant because it’s food is delicious and the prices are so good for what you get. The food is authentic and tasty. I get the Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai and curry soup with noodle and prawn. Always tasty! You can...bring your own drink too and this little place gets busy in the evenings which makes for a good atmosphere!More
