This is a beautiful building and a lovely restaurant. Its architecture is French in style and is reminiscent of some of the grand restaurants of Chicago and Philadelphia. We had the most enjoyable dinner of our four days in Perth. Service was somewhat inattentive but was charming when it was present. Prices are high.

The only reason this brasserie is not getting 5 stars, is that we were the only people there due to the CBD being closed down for summer holidays! Wonderful decor, excellent service and delicious of not small menu - original good, beautifully presented and topped off with lovely wines! Would definitely go back!

I am not sure what happened here... having enjoyed many dinners at the Heritage we thought it would be a good idea to book a new year's eve dinner. Not so. Firstly there was nothing festive about the place the poor decoration struggled to live up to the building's grandeur - a small band tucked (often away on a break...)... More

My husband took me here for a date night. Was a nice place but I was over dressed in a nice elegant dress, no need to get dressed up! Food was nice nothing too fancy... only problem I found was we were put on a table for 2 (which is perfect) but it was in the middle of 2 other... More

Lovely service ,friendly , polite and prompt Restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and lovely decor . We ordered the duck pate with sour bread , 2 steaks with amazing hand cut chips , a pavlova with salted caramel sauce and an espresso , with one glass of white and red wine . The Heritage is in the rescued magnificent late Victorian or Edwardian Royal Insurance Building in central Perth. Great oysters (at $25 a dozen cheaper than Europe), barramundi, lamb, chips and brussels sprouts. With beer and a bottle and couple of glasses of wine the bill was $240 for two - not cheap, but one of the nicest restaurants on offer... More

We arrived 6pm on a Friday and the restaurant wasn't too busy so the staff were quite attentive but not very friendly. Two ordered the mushrooms and two ordered steak. I would have expected a better steak from this calibre of restaurant but it was ok. The mushrooms were good and it seemed like a good choice. It was a... More

I attended a business dinner at this restaurant and was very pleased with the food, the service and ambience. The menu had a great choice and the wine list was comprehensive. And a good night was had by all.

One of my worst dining experiences in over 30 years. The menu was very limited for choice and for such a small menu you would expect some good food. Well from Entree to desert I can honestly say that the four of us were appalled. This was not the menu of a Chef, if it was they should be embarrassed.... More

Very slow service.. after finally getting waiters attention he walked past 3 maybe 4 times before bringing the oysters & Champers that we were supposed to get on arrival... they leave empty plates on the table for very long periods of time.. very pricey for small portions & very slow service..

After 25 years of ruin, the iconic Royal Insurance building of 131 St Georges Terrace became home to The Heritage on the 24th of May 2012, as part of Brookfield Place. Designed with the intent to establish a hospitality offering that is all encompassing from a classic cafe/restaurant through to late night bar and take away.

Framed by the historic facade and dramatic high ceilings The Heritage features pewter bar tops hand made in Paris and Italian marble floors. The dining room offers an all day a la carte brasserie menu through to late night cocktails. The Heritage offers a European dominant wine list features, along with tap beer and daily specials. Takeaway coffee, wine and other delicatessen items are also available.

The Boardroom at The Heritage is a private dining room that can accommodate up to twenty people. The room is available for corporate functions and meetings as well as intimate celebrations. Offering varying seating options, AV equipment. The Boardroom at The Heritage is ideally located for your private dining needs.

Lurking in the basement is Bobeche, a deep and moody personality for those wanting a dark and intimate setting to enjoy fine wine, mixed cocktails, diverse liquor offering, tap beer and grazing food menu options.
