$14 per 100mL glass Dominique Portet ‘Rose’, Yarra Valley NV FLAT - it had lost its carbonation. $38 Rump cap, slow cooked egg + vegetable crisps VERY AVERAGE - just nothing special and the beef too rare $32 Cheese plate BAD! (...sent it back twice!) What came out from the kitchen I should have taken a photo of to shame... More

Fantastic location, delicious food, great service. We really enjoyed visiting this restaurant. We came by boat and tied up to the jetty. No worries with parking. A fantastic day.

Our first and only visit. We selected the degustation and matching wines. None of the first three courses did we receive a explanation of the choice of wine etc. First time I had a beer as part of the matching wines? First four courses were ok...nothing outstanding the fifth course was lamb....first few bites were tough then there was a... More

After being told there were no chairs for infants and to keep our daughter fastened in the pram at all times we concluded this is not family friendly. Food was average but portions unreasonable small, one tiny scallop for example. Paired wines were such small volume we thought it was for tasting before serving. Wrong, that was it. This was... We enjoyed what can only be described as a fabulous Australia Day lunch st Halo today. The restaurant is located right on the water overlooking the Swan River at the Elizabeth St Quay. Today has been exceedingly hot however we sat outside but in the shade. The staff were attentive but not overbearing. The food was fantastic! We shared olives... More

Found by chance on our first night after arrival in Perth. Nice and friendly and food was ok. However choice was quite limited and I think overpriced. Nice location. Nothing to either rave about or complain either. Just another restaurant with a waterside view.

I dined here for a friend's birthday dinner a few weeks ago. The location is beautiful, right on the water, and our table was semi-outdoors, looking straight out over the river. We even had a perfect view of the fireworks which were on that night. I had the liquorice glazed beef with carrots & witlof, and it was amazing. Very... More

I went for dinner here on the 4th of January and I wish I could turn back time because it was a waste of time, money and my last night with my partner. We had dinner booked for 6:30 but we arrived half an hour late. We tried to call the restaurant a few times to tell them we would... More

Sadly there was not much else to applaud. The service was attentive. The food, when it arrived, was overpriced. As a vegetarian there was little on the menu to suit me. The (4) asparagus spears were very overpriced at $19.00 and the tiny serve of scallops in the entre (4 pieces, not whole ones) was also a rip off. We... More

Family visit 5 adults and 2 kids under 10. Order was taken at 7.35pm. Warmed olives , very tasty with a aniseed flavour arrived 30 minutes later. Bread arrived 20 minutes after this. Kids shared a meal which arrived just before our entrees. This was the only blessing the whole night. At least the kids were fed! Entree of scallops... More
