This is a very small restaurant along Anzac Avenue that serves the best ramen I've ever eaten before. They also serve a vegetarian ramen dish. Recommended.

The restaurant is perfect: budget-friendly, delicious, big servings (one ramen is good for 2 people), clean, comfortable, and great ambiance.

Do not go for ambiance. Formica tables in rather dingy room. Ramen was OK, but I found the broth a little bland. Cannot say I am a ramen expert, but I would not run back here.

Excellent ramen soup! Asked for it medium spicy and they got it perfectly. The soup is incredibly tasty and the noodles were perfectly cooked. It's not a fancy place by any measure but it is definitely worth stopping in.

My partner and I often go to the Tanpopo in Highland Park (Pakuranga) as it is our local area - their ramen and side dishes were always tasty, good portion sizes and affordable prices. Their Japanese staff were always friendly and greet us upon we arrive and leave. We often go there after some badminton training ~8.30-9pm and they were... More

We ADORE the tonkotsu chashu ramen here! By far, the best in town! We love the less-salt version better than the normal ones. We return to the restaurant at least once a month for warm bowls bone-marrow-infused hot broth, topped with extra ramen egg and nori sheet! Heavenly!

We accidentally stumbled onto this restaurant when we were walking to the local Countdown store near the Quay. Service was excellent & the dishes we ordered were extremely tasty & authentic. We had a pork ramen, gyoza, spicy bamboo & pork dish. The price was reasonable especially when you compare it to the cost of Japanese food at the Countdown... More

I ordered the 18NZD ramen.. noodles in special creamy pork base soup blended with salt base soup. The serving is quite generous.

You will almost definitely drive past it like we did coming down hill on Anzac Avenue. Just before the traffic light, there is a small Wilson car park on the right. Park there. Unassuming, small but the choice and quality is good. Ramen broth spot on. Great value if you are on a budget.
