I last visited two years ago for brunch and had a lovely experience, so planned a meal with two friends for a Saturday night during a recent visit to NZ. We were quickly seated as the place was only half full (we were relatively early).... we ordered and our meals arrived very quickly - that's ok, but not sure what... More

The staff were great and looked after U.S. We had a few special food requests with vegans etc and the meals that were made were excellent.

This was a great place to have brunch/lunch on a Saturday. We have been passed many times to see it brimming with patrons so it was a good choice to take overseas guests as it has a stunning view over the beach and the décor is modern. The staff were very helpful (one guest had special dietary needs and they... More

Dropped in for coffee and cheesecake. Service was good and staff friendly. The coffees were ok and serving size were on the small size. We ordered cheesecakes which arrived promptly. These were ok but nothing exceptional. Size was small for $12.00 each. The main attraction was the seaview.

We visited the restaurant last night and what a lovely meal we had. We both ordered the lamb. It was 'melt in the mouth' tender with a tasty blend of spices. The accompanying babaganoush (sp?) had a wonderfully smoky flavour. Will definitely visit again.

We went here as a group for breakfast. There is no doubt that the view is spectacular, the service was fast and the coffee was tasty. However, the meal was underwhelming, lacking flavour and a little cold. I had the mushrooms and poached eggs, the mushrooms were oily and flavourless. A lot of other people on our table felt like... My 88 year old took me to dinner here. She ordered the scallops which came with asparagus. Yum fresh, in season asparagus. Not. I particularly asked the waiter to make sure the asparagus was tender so that my dear Mum could eat them. Even I found them stalky and I have a full quota of teeth. Oh, the chef blanched... More

The cocktails were beautiful. The meals are in the small size but delish - especially the duck. The view is divine and the staff very friendly.

Went here because it was recommended. However we both had the fish and chips. Didn't feel they were up to the price tag. Small and med piece of battered ,probably overcooked . Chips were ok. The Menu did have lots of choices but given we are on holiday we both decided to have the fish and chips. Staff were friendly... More
