average sushi - it's all very fresh and there are lots of choices, but my expectations were raise by the "best sushi" award they'd won a while ago and then my lunch wasn't as good as I'd hoped.

Fresh tasty sushi is on offer every day at Bian Sushi & Donburi. Wide range of options, including tuna, salmon, prawn, chicken etc. Much more interesting combinations of flavours than many other sushi sports in Auckland. Highly Recommended. I come here regularly.

I'm sure this place has alot of regulars but we are probably their most regular dining there once a week, most weeks for about 6 years. What keeps us coming back is the freshness of the sushi - we think it's the best in Auckland. It's amazing how many friends we have run into there who all agree. Most places... More

Delicious sushi and udon soup. A great spot to hit up for lunch (the sushi is a little picked over by dinner but still good). Highly recommend. Great quality.

If you would like to eat the best sushi in Auckland then this is the spot. However you'll have to deal with the young woman running the place who never speaks to you. Even if you give her a warm 'Hello' she'll just stare at you with no emotion. I've experienced this now for two years and it's never changed... More

The food here never fails for please. The sushi is always fresh and delicious, and it's pretty great if you're on a budget- never too expensive. They have delicious Udon and Donburi too. Love stopping in for a quick lunch when I'm nearby.

Bian sushi once was AMAZING! Fresh and tasty and good value! Sadly over the last few months its quality and customer service has slipped. I went there to have my favorate chicken katsu curry. It was bland and uninspired. There were loads of fruit flies lurking around wasabi and ginger at counter. The staff were cold and uninterested. They also... More

I first went to Bian sushi about a year ago and it was amazing but since then it's deteriorated quite a bit. The sushi is left out for hours unchilled and the restaurant is a hotbed of flies. I still like coming here from time to time but if I were to think of "best sushi in Auckland", this doesn't... More

Small little eatery but don't be fooled by its appearance the food from the sushi to the donburi to most of the dishes I have tried are fantastic. Nice portions with a great value for money as compared to some other sushi places. The staff there are friendly and once your a regular u can use their loyalty card which... More

Love sushi fillings, original and fresh, they have a great selection of crispy fried offerings too. Always a good value offering.
