My husband wanted to drop in for a drink, Kilkenny. They brought us 2 drinks but it was just my husband that had ordered it. I also mentioned that we needed only 1. When the bartender came by with the 2 drinks, she looked a bit irritated after I explained we only ordered one. Just to order something, I went with... More

I think it is now enshrined in law that all tourists - wherever they are in the world - must visit an Irish pub. O'Hagans was my Irish pub of choice in Auckland :-) They sell the obligatory Guinness and Kilkenny ($10.50 a pint) alongside many other drinks. I had a nice glass of pinot gris with my calamari lunch,... More

We had a good first visit here, good service and great food. When we returned it was a different menu. Service still ok but food quite expensive for what we received.

When on the waterfront of Auckland you will find a great number of restaurants to quench your thirst or satisfy your belly. At this place people drink not regular beer but good English quarts or even more. Nice place to sit in the sun and relax. We had ice cream and cider not a bad combination.

I ordered the veggie nachos and they were absolutely amazing!! Probably the best I've ever had. The potion was huge with a good ratio of chips to sauces. I also had a cocktail which was refreshing, a good price too at $10. The service was fast and the waiter was helpful and kind. Over all had a lovely time eating... More

Lots of places to eat around here and this is one of the most popular. Have a Speight's beer and a 1kg of mussels. Mussels are $NZD20 per kg. Great selection of world beers and wines. Food was great as well. Buffalo wings were very good at $19.00.

We popped in here for a long cold drink as we had been wandering along the waterfront in the sunshine. We got a warm welcome and the service was good.
