Staying close by and googled where to eat & drink, wasn't disappointed at all. Staff very helpful and friendly, food was first class and value for money. We had steak pie was so tasty and lovely to dip chips into tasty gravy. Just had to...have Magners cider. We had cheese and crackers for dessert was great to soak up the Magners. Great all round well done. Tayto crisps for sale had to buy bag of cheese & onion to take home!More

The staff are really nice and look after all the patrons. The food is really good and it's a nice quiet pub to take the family.

Down a dark alley just off Broadway is a great Irish Pub that makes you all warm and fuzzy. Amazing Irish food and good beer. The staff was very friendly. Will be going back soon.

Popped in on a Thursday night. Was pleased to see a few groups as this place has been very quiet since new owners took over. Unfortunately the keg had run out on my beer. They asked for me to pay upfront and said they would...bring me the beer once they had replaced the keg. Unfortunately my beer never came and my money was gone. I could have gone and reminded them but service is all part of the experiance and so left and went elsewhere. I’ll try again in another month but my last two trips here were not great. Maybe next time.More

Nice friendly pub with good bar snacks. Good night had by all, we will return!! Only drawback is finding parking in area.

Typical New Zealand Irish pub. The staff were very pleasant with a warm welcome. The Kilkenny was at the correct temperature and poured correctly. My wife had fish & chips and I had steak & chips, both meals were generous portions and no adverse comment...when we asked for vinegar for our chips. The steak was a little over cooked but overall was a very tasty meal. Don’t expect restaurant quality food, it is typical pub grub. The only downside were the toilets, not a pleasant experience, could have been mistaken for a third world country. Overall we had a very pleasant evening and would certainly visit again. Recommend to all.More

Came here for a work do and as I walked down the driveway I wondered what sort of pub we were going into. Well what a surprise! Authentic and spacious with a welcoming atmosphere and the best value menu I have ever seen. We all...left full and couldn’t believe what a little gem in the crown this place was. Slainte ya team!More

Wow I really enjoyed my evening here. Stopped in with my husband and son to have a meal and watch the NRL. Firstly the staff. Very attentive and polite, nothing was to much to ask for. Secondly the food. The Gourmet Burger was juicy and...cooked to perfection, Halloumi Burger was very tasted and the home made Pea and Ham soup was almost as good as my Irish Grandma used to make. This pub will be a place I will return to again and again.More

The general atmosphere was good, although one particular female staff member appeared to be sucking a wasp all night. The Guinness was good as you would expect in an Irish pub, and there was a pool table and large tv so we happy.
