Booked online and greeted warmly when we arrived and shown to our table. Quick service from wait staff asking if we wanted drinks and then came back to take our orders. Good choice for the kids from the kids menu and the same with ours - beautifully presented! Not a cheap menu but definitely worth the money.

Characterful place to drink and dine The Emporium is the Art Deco Masonic Hotel’s Bar and restaurant. It also serves the breakfasts an we ate there for the three days we stayed at the Hotel. There were lots of nice touches to the past with black and white movies playing and plenty of vintage fixtures. It was always a fairly... More

The food here was amongst the best we had in our two weeks in NZ. The selection of craft beers was also very enjoyable.

My friend and I met at Emporium, we ordered two different pizza's and they were amazing. Using the real tradtional pizza oven and fresh ingredients makes all the difference. Chased down with amazing Trinity Hill wine! Must try!

Went for dinner, seated right away, great cocktail, food ordered and arrived in good time. Then lost it a bit. One dish arrived with stale bread base, replaced quickly but with same topping, which is poor. Glass of Syrah arrived, which was white! 2 Asian dishes, one chicken poached in coconut was great but bland, asked for chopped chilli's which... More

Tasty pizza, buzzy vibe in the bar, seems to be the place in Napier. Friendly service even though we hadn't booked, in the time it took us to choose a wine we were seated. All the other dishes we saw looked very tasty too!

Stopped here for a quick coffee at lunchtime but liked it so much we went back for dinner that evening. Very old fashioned decor inside with an old black and white film showing on the TV screens. Wooden cabinets filled with 1920s/1930s curios. Food excellent.

Lovely Art Deco theme. We were seated in the side room which was great as we could hear each other speak without straining and it was a little more private. Food choice was a little disappointing, but everyone was happy with their meals..

Hello lizadon Thank you for your recent visit, we do get very busy so sometimes noise can be an issue. I am a little confused that you thought our menu was disappointing but everyone enjoyed there meals?? Happy to discuss further. Kind Regards Shaye Bird More
