After a long day in the sun at Taupo we opted for takeaways from this restaurant. We were impressed by the service, the nice cool area to wait and the food was very nice. The restaurant itself looks spacious and bright and would be nice to dine in. Would definitely return.

This is the best Indian food, flavoursome, tender melt in your mouth. Great Service, nice Resturant can't be faulted at all. Good location and plenty of street parking surrounds Indian Affair.

Hmm. We had dinner here. Nothing special, but reasonably priced for the area. The fish tika was lovely, but the curry was very bland with no discernible spice, despite asking for medium heat.

Having looked at the rest glad we chose this. The service was attentive. The Kingfisher beer cold. Complimentary popadoms and dips. The tandoori chicken was the best I've ever tasted and the prawn curry delicious also. Don't forget to ring the bell of appreciation on the way out!

My partner and I dined here last night and had a great meal. I'd read some previous reviews that left me in 2 minds about eating there but am so pleased we did! We had a massive portion of tandoori chicken along with butter prawns, rice and a delightful garlic and cheese naan. All super.

We visited Indian Affair for our Christmas dinner during our time in Lake Taupo. We decided to order the All-U-Can-Eat option which included a mixed plate appetizers, 4 different curries, naan and rice. The mixed plate arrived with a huge portion that included pakora, samosas and tandoori chicken. The curries were Indian Hot and delicious. We also ordered a Mango... More
